HOST a small group Games Party in your home to raise funds for the Grandmothers Campaign
WHEN? Anytime in September 2023
WHY? To raise funds for the SLF. Introduce friends and family to the Grandmothers Campaign, the SLF and to OMAS.
HOW? Invite friends to enjoy an afternoon or evening of cards or games (e.g.Bridge, Euchre, or Board games). Share with them the story of the courageous Grandmothers in Africa who raise their grandchildren when their parents have died from AIDS.
Treat your guests to a delicious dessert or appetizer as you all enjoy some social time while fundraising for the SLF. Host a party with one or two other OMAS to increase the fun and the result.
SIGN UP:
A sign up sheet will be available at our May and June meetings.
REPORT THE RESULTS: After the event, give the proceeds (cash or cheque) to our treasurer, Penny Cressman, along with address information from the donors. Tax receipts will be awarded for donations of $20 or more.
