• M.A. in Biblical Counseling
• exposed to the world of HIV/AIDS
• her desire to reach out to women who were infected and affected by HIV/AIDS within poor communities grew
• Sept. 2001 - Jane and a small core of friends were led to the Ongata Rongai area

• took up residence in Mongo House Centre,  Ongata Rongai, Kenya
• vocational training in carpet weaving
• children’s feeding program

 2003
• children’s daycare is implemented
• kikoy weaving introduced as vocational course

• Small clinic and VCT (Voluntary Counseling & Testing)
• Child education sponsorship begins
• Prestige Shoppe officially opens

2005
• Sewing is added to vocational training repertoire.
• First HIV support groups are launched in tandem with home-based care training.

2006
• Kikoy department expands.
• Vocational students - basic business management to build sufficient capital for private business upon graduation.

2007
 Construction begins three new buildings:
• Kindergarten building -  funded by private foundations from U.S. and Canada
• Clinic -  funded by the Japanese Embassy and partial funding from Focus Africa
• Vocational Training Centre - funded by partner Blackhawk Church from the U.S.
• Offers first medical camp

2008
• Relocation to new property.
• Kindergarten, Clinic and the Vocational training are fully functional.
• Food and hunger outreach to feed families

• Sponsorship  - vulnerable families - school fees, scholastic materials, re-usable sanitary towels, school uniforms, mentorship and career guidance.

• OVC = orphans & vulnerable children

• Economic strengthening of families – business training, financial literacy training, skill development, support starting income generating  activities
